2010 Environmental Law Essay Contest

The winner of the 2009-2010 Essay Contest is Sara Gersen, a third year student at the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall). Her article is entitled The Potential of State Coal-Purchasing Legislation to Decrease Mountaintop Removal Mining. The entire staff of ELJ and the NYU Center for Environmental and Land Use Law thank her for her outstanding submission and congratulate her on this accomplishment.
