Register to participate: DEADLINE: AUGUST 15, 2008

  • Organization Name: name of employer
  • Office Location: registering office (your office)
  • Website: employer website
  • Employer Type: type of organization
  • Description: provide a brief description of organization
  • Address: mailing address of registering office
    Note: Select 'Non-US' for State if office is outside the U.S.
  • Contact Information: name, email and phone number for the primary ISIP contact
    Note: This is the person managing ISIP schedules for the interviewers. To add additional contacts to your ISIP account, submit a request by email.
  • Policy Affirmation: please read and confirm
  • Reception Information: if you will host an ISIP reception for students, please notify us of the location, date and time by email
  • submit button to complete registration

    *Please allow one (1) business day for account approval and activation. You will receive a confirmation email containing your ISIP Symplicity username and password.

Request an interview schedule: DEADLINE: AUGUST 15, 2008

  • From the homepage click on the ISIP top link and select the Schedule Requests tab
  • requestbutton button to request a new interview schedule.

IMPORTANT! Read before requesting interview schedule(s)

  • Interview schedules are requested based on the student's country of law degree and position location.
    (eg. schedule for Frankurt office requesting German student resumes)
  • Multiple countries of law degree may only be requested on a single schedule if all countries qualify for position location.
    (eg. schedule for Buenos Aires office requesting Latin American student resumes)
  • Interview schedules may have multiple position locations if countries of law degree qualify for each position location.
    (eg. schedule for Geneva and Paris offices for French or Swiss students)
  • Multiple position locations may NOT be combined on a single schedule if students do not qualify for all position locations.
    (eg. schedule for Tokyo and Madrid offices requesting Japanese and German student resumes)

EXAMPLE 1 - schedule with single position location

  • Registering Office: position location (Don't see the right office?)
  • Mode: Interview
  • Include Related Offices: no
  • Number of days: 1 (selecting 2 creates two identical Friday and Saturday interview schedules)
  • Preferred Date: Jan 23rd for Friday schedules, Jan 24th for Saturday schedules
    Note: Interview schedule requests must be submitted by the August 15th deadline to be guaranteed your preferred date.
  • Alternate Date: your second date preference
  • Scheduling Notes: provide any special instructions for your interview schedule (not visible to students)
  • Schedules (#): 1 (selecting more creates multiple identical schedules)
  • Timespan: Full Day, morning, afternoon (leave Full Day if uncertain)
  • Country of Law Degree to Interview: student's country of law degree
    Note: Multiple countries of law degree may be selected only if interviewing office targets all countries selected.
  • Additional Requests: additional documents students should bring to the interview (ie. transcripts, writing samples)
  • Hiring Critera: brief description of the position
  • Position Type: from the drop-down menu
  • Languages: section to indicate any special languages preferences
  • Survey Question: ISIP reception details if you plan to host one during or near the event, which you may email later

  • Registering Office: first position location (the rest are selected further down)
  • Mode: Interview
  • Include Related Offices: yes (will refresh form)
  • Number of days: 1 (selecting 2 creates two identical Friday and Saturday interview schedules)
  • Preferred Date: Jan 23rd for Friday schedules, Jan 24th for Saturday schedules
    Note: Interview schedule requests must be submitted by the August 15th deadline to be guaranteed your preferred date.

  • Schedules are listed in a table according to Date (interview date), Timespan (full day, morning, afternoon schedule), Registering Office, Office(s) (position location), Interview location (available beginning January 9, 2009), and # Rooms (number of schedule duplicates)
  • Click on Date in order to view interview schedule details
  • back button at the top of the page to return to the previous screen

    Note: Interview schedule requests changes must be submitted no later than the JANUARY 9, 2009 DEADLINE .

From the homepage click on the ISIP top link and select the Applicants/Waitlist tab.

Sort Resumes
To sort resumes by interviewing office, use the Office drop-down menu
Note: This feature is only available to employers with multiple interviewing offices.

Generate Resume Packet(s)

  • Sort resumes by office / position location (if available, see above)
  • Use the check boxes next to each student name to select those you wish to include in the packet
  • plusminus icon to select/de-select all in the list
  • resumepacket button to create resume packet
  • Enter the name of the resume packet (ie. Buenos Aires Resume Packet)
  • If there are 100+ resumes per interview schedule, you may wish to increase the number of pages per resume packet in the final field.
  • submitrequest button to generate resume packet
 

You will receive an email notification once your PDF resume packet has been generated. This process shouldn't take more than an hour.

Make Interview Candidate Selection: DEADLINE: DECEMBER 3, 2008

  • From the homepage click on the ISIP top link and select the Applicants/Waitlist tab.
  • Sort resumes by office / position location (if available, see above)
  • Candidate Selections

    Under the Invitation section next to each student's name use the drop-down menu
    invitationpending: candidate selection decision pending
    pre-select: add candidate to interview schedule (18 per schedule)
    alternate: additional interview candidates (5 per schedule)
    not selected: do not add candidate to interview schedule


  • Batch Selections

    changestatustoplusminus icon to select / de-select all candidates
    Choose not selected from the drop-down menu
    plusminus icon to de-select all candidates
    Mark the check box next to those students you wish to interview
    Choose pre-select from the drop-down menu
    Use the same process to make your alternate selections

    Note: CCV code is the 3-digit security code usually located on the back of your card

  • To pay by check
    Select check and provide the check number (if available)
    Checks and money orders must be drawn from a U.S. bank
    Checks must be made payable to New York University School of Law
    Note: Wire transfers are not available.
